Sales Associate

We are building our Cambridge team and require a B2B Sales Associate to help build our SME customer base in the UK and beyond. 

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, consultative sales professional; passionate about using technology to improve financial services and keen to make an impact quickly. He or she will be the face of the company to prospective customers, and may represent Money Mover at conferences and roundtables. This is a 100% new business role.

What will you be doing?
  • Converting new prospects
  • Devising and executing direct sales campaigns to new prospects
  • Identifying and qualifying prospective markets, customers and verticals
  • Informing and educating prospective customers
  • Meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Constructing, forecasting, managing and reporting your sales pipeline using our CRM
  • Contributing to our marketing plan, product development plan and pricing models
Requirements
  • Track record of success in B2B sales
  • Confidence in contacting new clients via phone and email
  • Ability to communicate convincingly with business owners and senior executives
  • Commercially driven with entrepreneurial perspective
  • Comfortable with cutting-edge software and technology
  • Likely to have experience with start-ups, financial services, SaaS or technology
  • Self-starter who flourishes with limited sales support
  • Proficient with MS Office suite, Apple Macs and OS X
  • Excellent spoken and written English

Operations Executive

Money Mover is a start-up FinTech company. It provides a transparent, low-cost and highly functional online global payments service to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which are underserved by banks and other payments providers.            

We are building our Cambridge team following the launch of our service and require an additional Operations Executive, who will report to the Customer Operations Manager and be based in our Milton office. What will you be doing?
  • Dealing with customer identity verification and account set-up procedures, ensuring compliance with documented policies and procedures
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers
  • Dealing with general questions arising from newly registered and transacting customers via telephone, email and web chat
  • Trouble-shooting payment related issues and liaising with our banks, technology partners and other service providers to resolve them
  • Monitoring customer payments and escalating suspicious activity
  • Recording and dealing with customer complaints
  • Keeping customer and contact records up to date in Money Mover’s systems
  • Assisting with the day-to-day business of the company (both the exciting and boring bits!)
Must haves
  • A highly organised self-starter - you see a problem and fix it before anyone’s even noticed
  • Excellent spoken and written English with an utterly charming phone and email manner
  • Comfortable with cutting-edge technology (software and hardware)
  • Ability to take charge in critical situations and work on resolving problems
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Thrives in a varied and ever-changing environment
  • Punctual, independent, proactive and willing to learn
Nice to haves

Back-end Developer

Money Mover is a well funded start-up financial technology (FinTech) company which provides online global payments and currency exchange for SMEs.

We’re dedicated to shaking up a huge market by bringing transparency, functionality and low costs to international business payments. We do this via a technology application which provides payments tools and functionality which help entrepreneurial businesses thrive.

We are looking for a back-end developer who wants to help craft the direction of a promising FinTech start-up in an industry that saw global investments reach USD 6.8 billion in 2014.

You will work closely with our lead developer and focus on the back-end development and server-side logic of our web application, partner portal application, partner integrations and marketing website. You will be highly motivated, creative and passionate about using technology to improve the way people do things. You will be keen to make an impact quickly and will be pivotal in maintaining the class-leading position of our technology.

This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and is based in either our Cambridge, UK office or our Kingston, Ontario office.
